Kohanna is a 23-year-old, Arizona-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has called Virginia, Baltimore, Nashville, Colorado, Europe, and now Austin home. Blending indie-folk, Americana, and soul, her music feels like postcards from those places, carrying stories of love, loss, joy, and hope. Describing her songwriting as “realistic fiction set to music,” she captures the beauty and uncertainty of becoming, inviting listeners to find pieces of themselves along the way.

Performing since age 16, Kohanna has taken the stage at venues including Stubb’s (Austin), The Armory (Fort Collins), and The Fox Theatre (Boulder). She has supported artists including Tommy Newport, Steph Strings, Greyson Turner, and The Takes, building a live presence across Colorado and Texas with performances in Austin, Denver, Fort Collins, Carbondale, and beyond. In October 2026, she embarked on her first full-band Colorado tour, the Where We Going? Tour, bringing her intimate storytelling and expansive five-piece sound to audiences across the state.

Following the release of Colorado: Side A in February 2026, Kohanna released her third studio album, Colorado: Side B, on October 30, 2026 with a new chapter of releases set to begin in December of 2026. Fully independent and a songwriter first, she continues to build a musical world shaped by the places she’s been, the people she’s known, and the stories still unfolding.
